Unless indicated service led by the Minister
1st March : Service led by the Minister. In place of a homily, we will have a short presentation on the history and meaning of the ceramic tiles embedded in the courtyard pathway in our church. The talk will be given by parishioner, Dr Virginia Giglio. ( for pictures go to our news page )
8th March : A service to mark "International Women's Day 2020" In his homily, Rev. Mike will be looking at the lives of 2 women from history with strong ties to the 8th of March.
15th March : Our minister gets a Sunday off as our service is led by Mr. David is a well known actor of film, tv and stage and is a member of our Dublin church. David's homily will be " On being a Christian Atheist".
22nd March : " Liquid Gold" a service to honour "International Water Day ". Led by our minister.
29th March : Beyond the Superficial ? Is life like a Lotto scratch card? Service led by Rev. Mike
So, what can you expect at a service?
During each service members of the congregation are invited to light candles, expressing their hopes, wishes, gratitude, fears and challenges.
Our readings are from many different sources, both spiritual and secular.
Our music is a mix of hymns and appropriate secular songs.
Our 1st reading is always from a member of the congregation. It is chosen by them and is NOT vetted or seen by the minister beforehand.
Tea/Coffee and refreshments are served before and after service.
On a Sunday morning the church is open at 10 am with service starting at 11
We are an LGBTI+ affirming church
All are welcome to our services, whatever your approach to faith, whatever ever your understanding of what we call God.
We welcome those of all faith outlooks and those of none.
Your sexuality is your own business as is your gender identification.
All are equal, all are respected, all are welcome.
