Return to Worship :
Under the goverenment roadmap for the opening of our econom, we are due to resume worship in our church on Sunday, 5th of July 2020.
The continued presence of Covid-19 means that worship will be a different experience as we are mindful of the health and safety of all attending our church, their loved one's and all they come in contact with in the wider community.
To this end, we have drawn up, in accordance with lastest public health guidelines a number of protocols which will govern our worship programme. This can be found in a download document on the " News" page of this site. The post is titled- " Return to Worship".
So, what can you expect at a service?
During each service members of the congregation are invited to light candles, expressing their hopes, wishes, gratitude, fears and challenges.
Our readings are from many different sources, both spiritual and secular.
Our music is a mix of hymns and appropriate secular songs.
Our 1st reading is always from a member of the congregation. It is chosen by them and is NOT vetted or seen by the minister beforehand.
Tea/Coffee and refreshments are served before and after service.
On a Sunday morning the church is open at 10 am with service starting at 11
We are an LGBTI+ affirming church
All are welcome to our services, whatever your approach to faith, whatever ever your understanding of what we call God.
We welcome those of all faith outlooks and those of none.
Your sexuality is your own business as is your gender identification.
All are equal, all are respected, all are welcome.

"God is not a Christian, God is not a Jew, or a Muslim or a Hindu, or a Buddhist. All of those are human systems which human beings have created to try to help us walk into the mystery of God"
