Buddhist Monk at Service

On Sunday, 3rd Feb, we welcomed to our service a number of Buddhist clergy who were visting Cork for the Chinese new Year celebrations. Among them was Sifu Douglas who is Vice Abbot of the Dali Rulai Temple in Los Angeles. During service, Chair of the church, Mr Brian Cluer presented Douglas with a St Brigid's cross to mark his visit. Sifu Douglas spoke of the warmth and openness of the Unitarian church, something he had experienced in America. Our minister then invited Douglas to carry out the Final blessing or benediction to end the service.
